smilefaucet + titles

Gerald hi,

The project for the smilefaucet “EXIT” submission – it’s all live footage but I want to do one graphic version as well and I want your most valued opinion. Can you take a look and suggest how can I approach this with graphic elements and vfx.

EXIT

and one more thing – those titles – I don’t have enough enthusiasm and motivation for them, but I need to make them look better, so can you just give me couple specific ideas how to make it work better. You already made some remarks, but can you take a look at it one more time and kinda frame what can be done overall in a specific way…

  1. Titles:
    1. You need an opening. Right now it feels like we are just thrown into the titles….i think you need to work in some GFX first then go into the titles.

    2. I still think you need more edits…you only have two and it feels like there should be more. You need more scale change in your framing of GFX.

    3. “Set Artist” dosent have enough time on it to be readable.

    4. The guy being bulled by the boat while water skying should be animated some how.

    5. Last shot of the girl and the toopick…it would be nice…if the toothpick was swing and she was actually try to keep her balance on it…like a seesaw.

  2. EXIT.

Mmm…this is very difficult to do…I cant really tell you what to do…..next to actually doing it for you…you need to come up with some creative…just have footage to work with dosent mean half the problem is solved…you need a good story and good development of it….to make sure the viewer is intrigued and satisfied. please think it over.
